Education Foundation of Eagle County
Every year, Eagle County shows up for its public schools. You donate, volunteer, sponsor and attend EFEC’s Project Funway to help educators give students opportunities they might otherwise miss.
At the Education Foundation of Eagle County, we see your generosity at work through the gifts and support we are able to give via classroom grants, scholarships, educator recognition and school support staff. We are deeply grateful. We also know philanthropy cannot replace reliable public funding.
That is why EFEC supports and is the campaign hub for “yes” on 5B.
5B would provide locally controlled funding to retain and recruit educators, strengthen academic instruction, restore art, music and physical education, and maintain students’ access to mental-health professionals.
For a child, these investments can mean a trusted teacher who stays, a class that sparks a passion, or a counselor available when they need support.
We know affordability is a real concern. As a community, we must weigh this investment alongside the cost to children and families when schools have fewer educators, fewer opportunities and less support.
This is our choice. Every dollar raised by 5B stays in our school district. We can choose to invest in the schools that help build an educated workforce, a strong local economy and the community we want to live in.
Your generosity has already made a difference. Now we’re asking you to multiply its impact. By voting “yes” on 5B, you can help secure $10.1 million every year for our local schools — building on the investment you have already made.
Our children get one chance at each school year. Let’s make those years count. Vote “yes” on 5B.
